Open the IPO order screen in the online service to see current listings.
Agree to the prospectus and enter your quantity and price. You may apply even if your available funds fall short.
A uniform computer draw runs on the day the offer price is set, with results on a dedicated screen.
If you won, apply within the window. You now need available funds of at least the offer price multiplied by your quantity.
Shares appear in your account two to three business days after the last day of the purchase window.
Its own manual states plainly that you may enter the draw even when your available funds are short. Money is only required once you have won and are confirming the purchase — an unusually relaxed condition for entering.
At least 10% of the planned allocation goes into a uniform computer draw covering everyone who applied at or above the price. On some listings that share has been raised substantially, in one case to around half.
