What stands out

  • A broad line-up of tools such as Mieruca SEO, Mieruca Heatmap and Local Mieruca, plus Mieruca Connect, which provides marketing professionals
  • Revenue grew from 2.32 billion yen in the year to September 2024 to 2.56 billion yen in the year to September 2025 (up 10.5%), and net profit from 0.22 billion yen to 0.26 billion yen (up 20.4%)
  • Its equity ratio was 82.7% at the end of September 2025, and it plans an annual dividend of 30 yen per share for the year to September 2026

What could go wrong

  • For the year to September 2026 the company forecasts higher revenue but a 20.2% fall in operating profit and a 20.1% fall in net profit (operating profit for the first nine months was also down 27.1% year on year)
  • The Distribution business is still in an upfront-investment phase; in the first nine months of the year to September 2026 it posted revenue of about 16 million yen against an operating loss of about 0.12 billion yen
  • Its core business is helping clients attract customers through search, including SEO, so it can be affected by changes in how people search as generative AI spreads and by trends in corporate marketing budgets

About the company

A digital marketing company that provides tools, specialist talent and consulting to help businesses attract visitors online, centred on its Mieruca series of SEO (search engine optimisation) tools.

How it makes money

It offers tools on a monthly-fee basis, including Mieruca SEO, which helps websites gain more visitors from search, Mieruca GEO, which checks how a company is cited in AI search, Mieruca Heatmap, which visualises how visitors move around a site, and Local Mieruca for map-search marketing of physical stores. It also runs Mieruca Connect, which provides companies with ready-to-work marketing professionals, as well as consulting. Its main way of earning money is to start a relationship from an enquiry and then raise revenue per customer by selling large and mid-sized companies a combination of several services (cross-selling). From the year to September 2026 it reports a second segment, the Distribution business (DX Mieruca), which sells and helps implement other companies' back-office SaaS and similar products. Of revenue of 2.06 billion yen in the first nine months of the year to September 2026, the Mieruca business accounted for 2.04 billion yen.

Where growth is meant to come from

It is focusing on developing features that use generative AI and on AI search optimisation services (GEO and LLMO), and says it has won orders from more than 50 companies across tools and consulting. Its new Distribution business had 98 contracted companies and held ARR of 0.141 billion yen at the end of June 2026 (ARR here means the monthly fees of services contracted through the company, multiplied by 12), and it targets held ARR of 3.6 billion yen by the end of the year to September 2030. For the year to September 2026 the company forecasts revenue of 2.82 billion yen (up 10.0%) and net profit attributable to owners of the parent of 0.21 billion yen (down 20.1%), with profit expected to fall despite higher revenue because of upfront investment in this business.
