What stands out

  • Revenue for the first half of 2026 (January to June) was 340 million yen, up 36.3% year on year
  • It is widening its ties with major power companies, including a technical collaboration with Kansai Electric Power (started June 2026) and a collaboration with Chugoku Electric Power
  • In the UK, Daikin Airconditioning UK has been selling heat pump products with a service built on the company's technology since November 2025

What could go wrong

  • In the year to December 2025 revenue fell 46.0% and the net loss was 720 million yen, partly because business with a major customer (a large rental housing company) was abruptly set to end. The company also forecasts a net loss for the year to December 2026
  • The company discloses that events or conditions exist that raise significant doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern (while stating that it sees no material uncertainty)
  • It is raising money through warrants whose exercise price moves with the share price (MS warrants); the batch issued in July 2026 alone could add up to 1.4 million shares (dilution)

About the company

Analyses electricity data from homes and offices with AI, offering demand-response support to power companies and electricity-usage visualisation services to households.

How it makes money

It analyses data collected from power sensors and other sources with AI, including its own technology that estimates how each appliance is being used from overall electricity data (known as NILM), and turns this into services for power companies. Its main services are BridgeLAB DR, which supports retail electricity suppliers with demand response (getting users to shift when they use power), and ienowa, which shows households how they use electricity. Through Energy Gateway, a joint venture with the TEPCO group, it also takes on development work related to next-generation smart meters.

Where growth is meant to come from

It aims to grow recurring revenue centred on BridgeLAB DR, and over the medium to long term to expand services that use data from next-generation smart meters, as well as its overseas business. For the year to December 2026 the company forecasts revenue of 845 million yen (up 59.4%) but a net loss of 351 million yen.
