What stands out

  • Specialises in placing people into consulting firms, and sources its candidates from its own information sites
  • Revenue rose from 2.39 billion yen in the year to December 2024 to 3.80 billion yen in the year to December 2025, with net profit of 1.15 billion yen
  • Forecasts revenue of about 6.4 billion yen and net profit of about 1.99 billion yen for the year to December 2026, raised again in August 2026

What could go wrong

  • Fees are earned only on a successful placement, so results swing with client hiring and a downturn that makes companies cut recruitment hits revenue
  • Candidates come mainly through its own sites' search rankings, so a change in search algorithms could reduce registrations
  • It has never paid a dividend and says the timing of any future payout is undecided

About the company

A recruitment agency placing professionals and senior talent, focused on the consulting industry.

How it makes money

It attracts candidates through its own information sites, such as Consultant Tenshoku and Kinyu Tenshoku, and its career advisers support them from the first interview through to joining a firm. It is paid only on success: when a candidate is hired, the client company pays a fee calculated as a percentage of that person's annual salary. Because it sources candidates from its own sites rather than paying to use other companies' scouting platforms, its costs are low. The gross margin was 95.7% in the year to December 2024, and about 80% of revenue came from placements made from its own database.

Where growth is meant to come from

The company steers by revenue and operating profit, underpinned by two operating figures: the number of career advisers and the size of its candidate database. Advisers grew from 44 at the end of December 2023 to 126 at the end of June 2026, and registered candidates from about 88,000 to more than 118,000. For the year to December 2026 it forecasts revenue of about 6.4 billion yen and net profit of about 1.99 billion yen, both above the previous year, after raising its original 5.0 billion yen revenue forecast twice, in May and August 2026.
