What stands out

  • PostPrime has about 430,000 users, mainly individual investors and business owners
  • CEO 高橋ダニエル圭 (Dan Takahashi) is known for his YouTube channel explaining finance and the economy
  • Made an M&A brokerage a subsidiary in July 2026 as it starts building a new source of revenue

What could go wrong

  • In the year to May 2026 revenue fell 38.3% to 550 million yen and the company swung to a net loss of 280 million yen
  • Its listing prospectus said posts and videos by CEO Takahashi brought in about 30% of total revenue (year to May 2023), so it depends heavily on him
  • It has not issued a forecast for the year to May 2027, making it hard to judge how new businesses such as M&A brokerage will affect results

About the company

Runs PostPrime, a social network for sharing information about investing and money, and since July 2026 has also offered M&A brokerage.

How it makes money

Its main revenue comes from fees for Prime registration, which lets users view paid posts on the PostPrime social network, and for memberships that come with discounts and other perks. For Prime registration, the company keeps what users pay minus the royalties it passes on to the posters, known as Prime Creators. In July 2026 it made インフィニティライフ, an M&A and real estate brokerage, a subsidiary, and plans to use its base of about 430,000 users to find deals.

Where growth is meant to come from

With growth in new paid sign-ups stalling, the company is rebuilding its business, forming a capital and business alliance with サイブリッジ合同会社 in January 2026 and entering M&A brokerage in July. It has withdrawn from TakaTrade, its commodity CFD trading service. It has not issued a forecast for the year to May 2027, saying a reasonable estimate is difficult.
