What stands out

  • Has worked on digital manufacturing with 3D technology for more than 35 years
  • Counts Toyota, Honda and Nissan among its main domestic customers
  • Owns 42 3D printers covering six different printing methods

What could go wrong

  • In the year to December 2025 operating profit fell 81.2% to 85 million yen and the bottom line was a net loss of 36 million yen, after spending on reorganisation and the move to a holding company
  • Automakers are its main customers, so results move with how much the car industry spends on development
  • Its long-term goal of 100 billion yen in revenue by December 2033 means growing about 3.9 times from the 25.8 billion yen it recorded in the year to December 2025, which needs average growth of around 18% a year over eight years, acquisitions included

About the company

Supports product development at automakers and other manufacturers using digital tools such as 3D CAD and 3D printing.

How it makes money

Two pillars carry the business. Engineers are placed inside customers' development teams to handle 3D CAD design, simulation and model-based development, and a manufacturing arm builds prototypes and production parts on 3D printers. Its main customers are automakers including Toyota, Honda and Nissan. Revenue for the year to December 2025 was 25,779 million yen, a record high.

Where growth is meant to come from

The group moved to a holding company structure in July 2025 and now runs through three companies — SOLIZE PARTNERS for engineering and manufacturing, SOLIZE Ureka Technology for consulting, and +81 for new ventures. Management plans revenue of 30,500 million yen for the year to December 2026, up 18.3%, and has set a long-term target of 100 billion yen in revenue by December 2033.
