What stands out

  • Mirairo ID had grown to 655,000 users and 4,298 participating businesses by the end of June 2026
  • In the year to September 2025 revenue rose 17.3% and operating profit rose 21.6%
  • 308,000 people had passed its Universal Manner certification on serving people with disabilities by the end of September 2025

What could go wrong

  • Large orders fell short of plan, and in August 2026 the company cut its forecast for the year to September 2026 to revenue down 2.7% and net profit down 26.4%
  • Demand for training and certification has been lifted by rule changes, such as the revised law against disability discrimination in force from April 2024 and the higher statutory employment quota for people with disabilities from July 2026
  • Revenue is small at about 800 million yen, so results swing with whether large projects are won

About the company

Runs Mirairo ID, an app that lets people show their disability certificate on a smartphone, and sells training and certification on how to serve people with disabilities to companies and local governments.

How it makes money

Revenue comes from three areas. In the nine months to June 2026, Universal Manner training and certification made up about 42% of revenue, Mirairo ID-related services about 34%, and communication support such as sign language and text interpretation about 24%. Mirairo ID lets users show their disability certificate on a smartphone to get discounts at transport operators and facilities; the company earns from businesses through system integration, coupons, advertising and research. Training and certification are sold to companies, schools and government offices.

Where growth is meant to come from

In September 2026 the company made Mirairo DB a new pillar of its growth strategy. It uses information that Mirairo ID users choose to register, with their consent, to connect people with disabilities with companies in areas such as work, money and health, and the company earns fees from companies for referrals and contracts. Its job placement service Mirairo Career, launched in April 2026, is the first example. For the year to September 2026 the company forecasts revenue down 2.7% and net profit down 26.4% (revised downward in August 2026).
